There’s a handful of records that should have seen the light of day in 2009, but were postponed for some reason or other. Here’s a quick overview.

The Van Jets – ‘Cat Fit Fury!’
Belgium’s glammest rockers return with a new eyeliner pencil and a second full album. Out 1st of March.
First single will be ‘The Future’, but you can download album track ‘Matador’ for free right here.

Goose – title TBC
All we know about the album is that it should be quite a departure from the old material. No release date has been set so far.

Melissa Auf Der Maur – ‘Out Of Our Minds’
This album was finished in 2007 and will finally be out on March 16th.

Magnus – title TBC
Tom Barman + CJ Bolland’s second album featuring Tim Vanhamel and De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig. No release date set.

Mauro & the Grooms + Hitsville Drunks + …
Mauro Pawlowski’s new Grooms album is his personal Chinese Democracy but cheaper and no doubt better. And without Axl Rose.
Will it be out in 2010 or will it be on the shelf for a few more years? And what about the equally finished Hitsville Drunks album? And all the other stuff he recorded? No one knows.

Nicole Atkins – ‘Mondo Amore’
Her second album will be harder than debut ‘Neptune City’. There’s already a whole bunch of live versions of the new tracks floating around on YouTube . Check out a video of the excellent ‘The Tower’ below. Release date: Spring 2010.
